How to Use the Chipotle Calorie Calculator

This calculator tracks the exact calories and macronutrients for every ingredient on the Chipotle menu. To build your order, work through each step in order - start with your base (bowl, burrito, tacos or salad), then pick your protein, rice, beans, toppings, and any extras or drinks. The nutrition panel on the right updates instantly every time you make a selection.

You can also use the Diet Filter buttons to automatically pre-select the best ingredients for keto, high protein, low calorie, or vegan orders. After filtering, you can adjust individual ingredients to fine-tune the result.

How Accurate Is This Calculator?

All nutrition values come directly from Chipotle's publicly available nutrition information. The calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber and sodium shown for each ingredient are the official values Chipotle reports. The only variation from the official numbers is serving size - Chipotle staff occasionally portion ingredients differently, which can cause small variations in the actual nutrition of your order versus the calculated values. The calculator should be considered accurate to within 5 to 10 percent of your actual meal.

Tips for Reducing Calories at Chipotle

  • Skip the tortilla: Choosing a bowl instead of a burrito saves exactly 300 calories instantly.
  • Skip the chips: Regular chips add 540 calories. Chips with guacamole add 770 calories. This is the single biggest calorie reduction you can make.
  • Lighten the toppings: Sour cream (115 cal) and cheese (110 cal) are easy to skip or halve. Together they add 225 calories without significant nutritional benefit.
  • Choose chicken or steak over carnitas: Chicken has 180 calories and 32g protein. Carnitas has 210 calories and 23g protein. Chicken is both lower in calories and higher in protein.
  • Skip the rice: White rice adds 210 calories. A bowl without rice and with black beans instead saves over 80 calories while adding more fiber.
